Launching the YSR Arogya Sri scheme in Guntur, AP CM YS Jagan has responded on the allegations of his religion and caste. Speaking at Guntur General hospital, Jagan said, “I have been hearing comments about my religion and caste over the last few days and for them, Here is my answer.”
“Humanity is my religion and keeping the word given to a person is my caste,” said Jagan. Adding about Arogya Sri scheme, nearly 4.5 lakh people will get benefit from this scheme and anyone who gets sick and if their medical bill crosses Rs 1000, state government will bare everything.
By the end of December, the state government is planning to dispose as many as over 500 varieties of medicines for the people and there would be no need for anyone to buy them outside in pharmacies.
CM Jagan also promised to renovate all the government hospitals into super specialty in the next three years and about 1060 ambulances will be made available across the state by April 2020.
